Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 cup cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
Method:
- Add sugar and water and heat it on medium high heat until it reaches 160°c or until the sugar slight Caramelizes.
- Then turn off heat and add cream gradually while whisking.
- Put back the pan on the heat again stir till it reaches a thick texture.
- Turn off heat and add the butter, salt and vanilla.
- And let the mixture cool completely transfer into a jar.
Uses:
We use the toffee sauce topping, to add the homemade caramel additional taste for Paris puffs.
