Toffee Sauce
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt

 

Method:
  • Add sugar and water and heat it on medium high heat until it reaches 160°c or until the sugar slight Caramelizes.
  • Then turn off heat and add cream gradually while whisking.
  • Put back the pan on the heat again stir till it reaches a thick texture.
  • Turn off heat and add the butter, salt and vanilla.
  • And let the mixture cool completely transfer into a jar.

Uses:

We use the toffee sauce topping, to add the homemade caramel additional taste for Paris puffs.
